Mobile 2.0 Event

I am back to Austin from my trip to the Mobile 2.0 Event in San Francisco… It was a great event overall: the speakers, the attendees, the atmosphere. I enjoyed it very much. Congrats to the organizers!

It was great to finally meet many of my peer Mobilists, many who are the mobile practitioners who are making a difference today, many who I’ve known (virtually) over the years: Kelly Goto, Russ Beattie, James Pearce, Mike Rowhel, Rudy De Waele, Gregory Gorman, Christian Lindholm, and many others… and great to see again Brian Fling, Barbara Ballard, Dan Appelquist, Peter Vesterbacka, and meet new people such as Tomi Ahonen, Carlos Domingo, Marc Davis, Kaj “HeGe” Haggman, David Adams, Jayson Raymond, the folks from Webwag, and may others.

The morning started with the opening remarks by Rudy, followed by Tommi’s great keynote, then and a series of panels and “mobile launches” including companies such as Taptu, Webwag, Mobile Research, and Kyte.tv.

Below are some photos of the event courtesy of Dan Appelquist and Rudy De Waele and others.
