About Carlos Enrique
I’m a technologist, systems thinker, and software leader with experience spanning mission-critical Space Shuttle software, mobile and embedded platforms, large-scale distributed systems, and applied AI/ML. My career has spanned organizations such as NASA, IBM, Alcatel-Lucent, Amazon, high-growth startups, and now SHI International.
I focus on building resilient technology, scalable systems, and high-performing engineering teams for real-world environments, where complexity, scale, and decision quality directly shape outcomes. I’m the author of two books on mobile development, hold six granted patents, and stay active in the professional community, including helping establish ACM Austin as a co-organizer.
I write about technology, systems, leadership, decision-making, and the discipline required to build software and organizations that scale and endure.
