Apple has announced its new phone – a full surface screen mobile handset that is just sweet.
While Nokia and BenQ had previously exposed concept phones with a full surface screen for UI, Apple is the one taking the concept all the way to market.
I am a fan of touchscreen, and reconfigurable/adaptable UIs, and this design is just awesome, darn sexy and just totally cool. A prime environment for running Widgets.
The Apple Phone runs OS X, which is a big deal – Apple's own Unix-like OS for mobile handsets, and a new mobile OS in the landscape together with Windows Mobile, Symbian OS, Linux, and others.
