It's our net!

Net Neutrality… have you written to your congressmen? I have! And I encourage you to please do the same… You can find out who your congressmen are by visiting the The U.S. House of Representatives and the Senators of the 109th Congress websites.

Net Neutrality is about keeping the net (and thus the web) unbiased, keeping the net/web open, and precluding overcontrol of the web/net by a very few (but powerful) corporations.

The House of Representatives voted against Net Neutrality, and now it is up to the Senate…

Haven't we learned yet? All we have to do is look at the wireless networks and the carriers, and learn about what happens when Net Neutrality doesn't exist: walled gardens, prioritized content, the “inner circle” – see The Problem with Mobile. We don't want that happening to the Internet, right?

Net Neutrality – we are all affected. Let's raise our voices and concerns… Write to your congressman…. It's Our Net!
