Yahoo! was one of the pioneers in Web Portals and searching – we all know that. But as it happens to many large companies, focus and vision was lost somewhere on the way – call it growing pains, or loss of direction, or something else. But Google's reshaping the landscape has revitalized the industry, and this includes Yahoo! We can see this in all the new products from Yahoo!, some similar to Google, others unique, some created internally, others acquired — Yahoo! Answers, Flicker, My Web, and now del.icio.us. Sometimes it takes good competition, a good challenge to bring the best out, to regain focus. That is Yahoo! today. Pretty exciting times @ Yahoo!
