I am proud to have Michael Yuan, senior developer and mobility expert at eZee, inc., present at JavaOne 2008:
Austin, TX.–(WIRE) February 7, 2008 – eZee, inc. the Interactive Mobile Marketing Platform company is proud to announce its senior Java developer, Dr. Michael Yuan will present on 2 topics at the largest gathering of Java enthusiasts, technologists and providers in the world – JavaOne.
Michael’s first session will cover the JBoss Seam framework. The JBoss Seam framework is one of the most popular and most advanced enterprise application frameworks available today. It builds on the industry standard Java Platform Enterprise Edition 5, and is completely open source software supported by Red Hat Inc. Michael is an active contributor in the JBoss Seam open source community. At eZee, JBoss Seam is extensively used to implement our enterprise-class service-oriented architecture and Web 2.0 applications.
The second talk will be part of the “Cool Stuff” track which captures that creative energy and offers a selection of the coolest stuff in the Java technology universe. Michael will cover mobile messaging applications for which he is the resident expert at eZee. eZee’s mobile marketing platform consists of mobile messaging, promotion, offers, discounts, text-to-win, polling, keyword management, push, business intelligence, social/viral and multimedia.
JavaOne is the world’s largest Java related conference held annually since 1996 and put on by Sun Microsystems to discuss Java technologies primarily among Java developers. JavaOne is held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
About eZee, inc.
eZee, inc. is a Mobile Marketing Platform company developing and launching applications that empower sellers to reach potential customers in more and different ways than ever before. eZee believes that the new frontier for sellers to reach buyers is the mobile phone.
In addition, a third, alternate session from Michael was also accepted. The third session will focus on how to develop compelling mobile web applications. He will discuss unique device management and view template technologies developed at eZee Labs to make a web application look great on a large variety of devices — from the Apple iphone to a low end Motorola. Those technologies help bridge the gap between the “web” and the “mobile web”.
From my perspective, I was originally asked to present on NFC at JavaOne (the same (but improved) presentation that I gave at the Java Mobile and Embedded developer conference in January), but Nokia, who is the JSR 257 spec lead will present instead. I might speak at a BOF on developer relations and issues.
