Flat rates and open gardens are two characteristics necessary to enable, trigger adoption… Cost of ownership is a roadblock; if it is too expensive, people can't afford it, and mass market won't adopt.
Good for 3, which seem to be thinking long-term, and seems to understand the theory of long tails — put mobile on the hands of many mobile users… monetize horizontally across many users, over time.
