On Startups, thoughts, essays, thoughts…

Ideas are many. There are great ideas, and there are shitty ideas. But regardless it is about making it happen, execution. The image above, from Hugh Macleod from the Gaping Void (of which I’m a huge fan of) describes the essence of this.

Executing is the hardest thing — the easiest path is doing it all by yourself, if you can. Depending on others, dramas, clueless or sociopath individuals, timing, all contribute to our success or failure. But we can’t do it all by ourselves and must learn to deal with all the above.

…and regardless, always follow your heart and ignore what others say “you’re too late”, “what about the competition”, “that is just a feature” — it really doesn’t matter. If you want to be on the game, you must be on the game-field. Do it!
