- Wireless data revenue in the US was approximately $13 billion in 2006, and is projected to be 3 times that in 2010.
- Wireless data and multimedia services accounted for 6% of all wireless revenue in the US in 2006, and is projected to go up 4 times that in 2010.
While not wireless data, prepaid wireless service is the fastest growing segment: from 12 million users in 2002, more than doubled in 2006, and is projected to be around 55.5 million in 2010.
