		<description>Watch out for Objective C, it is set to take off with the iphone, as currently it is only decent way to create native apps for it. Until java is officially ported to the iphone, I believe objective C will have to be the choice of language on the iphone. 

Apart from that I firmly believe, that java a platform will survive longer than the java language. Watch out for Scala and Groovy to take off soon. They are more expressive and DSLs are the going to be very popular in the  future. Better start learning them now. :-)</description>
