		<description>I think it would come down to hardware.  You would see the mobile device market begin to mimic the desktop/laptop world with most manufacturers letting someone else worry about the software for the most part and focusing on getting the most capabilities for the lowest cost.

And like the regular desktop/laptop market you wouldn&#039;t have a uniformity.  The Success of Android does not necessarily translate into the extinction of the iPhone; it could be that Apple&#039;s closed model is more successful in the mobile market than it has been in the computer one.

The iPhone also has the advantage that web developers attempting to make their sites accessible to Android will also be helping iPhone users, because (as I understand it) both are based on the same rendering engine, WebKits.</description>
